Our dental hygienists diagnose your level of periodontal health and treat your individual needs through their periodontal assessment, personalized cleaning and oral care advice.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Our mouths are home to hundreds of millions of bacterial, viruses, and fungi (microbes). There are over 700 different species! This diverse ecosystem needs to be maintained in a state of balance to achieve dental health. Dental cleanings help to reduce imbalances of microbial build-up, improving the health of your teeth, gums, and mouth overall.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":4} -->\n<h4>How many appointments will I need for my dental cleaning?<\/h4>\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>This is different for each person. The amount of time and exact technique required for your cleaning will depend on the presence and progression of plaque and tartar buildup and periodontal disease. The first step to determining if an area of the mouth is suitable for implant placement is an implant consultation. You will be able to discuss your goals for your mouth and smile.
